I am thinking of going against tide and considering UBB, specially for its clean looks and build in gallery feature. I have few questions before I take a final call

Gallery:
1. On the gallery feature, can EXIF be displayed.
2. Can UBB Code be turned off (e.g. such link displayed below image)
3. Can we put limit on number of images that can be uploaded by a user or for per forum/per user?
4. Can images be rated and top rated images within a forum be displayed

Other:
Is there any mod which can be used for publishing articles (like GARS module for VB?)
Are things going to change drastically from 7/4 to 7/5?

And last but not least, are you running any promotions, like IPB had recently

And if I buy now, how fast would I get download access? I would like to set things on weekend

1. I never used exif so I am not sure if there are any issues with that file type.
2. You can disallow html and or ubb code by member groups
3. You can set the number of images or attachments per post per group permissions
4. You can rate posts including the picture gallery but not individual images unless you limit the uploads/attachments to one per post.
5. Depends on when you apply and uses ecommerce. This site usually is fairly quick.

There is also a demo availible setup on this server for you to try at. DEMO
At the bottom of the screen is a test script to download to test compatability on your server.

You will need to signup for the demo and they will setup a install on their server to use a day or two.

The gallery was just introduced a couple of version ago, as such it hasn't really been built up to what it will be several versions down the road; EXIF data isn't yet stored during the upload process.

The UBB won't be changing UI wise between 7.4 to 7.5; however 8.0 will experiance a UI overhaul (more AJAX feel).

As for download access, I believe all orders are manually applied; I'm sure it'd be pushed out first thing Monday morning, or tonight (friday)
