I'm about to update my forum software to the latest UBB version. I've noticed some other forum types have a premium membership option, providing special features for members, which auto-bills and auto notifies members.

Do we have this ability on UBB either though standard software or custom add-on features developed on the side?

If I understand your question correctly, then yes. You can set up Subscriptions using Paypal, check or money order. When the user "subscribes" and makes the payment they will get added to the group(s) you've associated with that subscription, and any features you've enabled for that group.

Thanks much Rick. When you say "set up" do you mean build this myself or is there already code/script/feature done for UBB that I just need to find and/or install?

The PayPal integration is installed with the latest build, you simply need to setup the options.

This is a huge feature and would love for there to be documentation on subscriptions.

I'd love to do it, write up a guide; however I don't use the subscriptions feature to be able to put it to instructions for people...

Me too. I have no need or use for the subscription feature at this time.
