Hi smile

I have set the maximum width of images to 700px under 'Max width for images used in posts?' in feature settings. This works in Firefox but does not in IE. In IE the images which are the 'right' size in Firefox cause a horizontal scroll bar.

Anyone know why this is the case and what I can do to fix it so it scales in both browsers?

Using v7.5.3

There will probably always be cross browser issues.
I don't know if you are talking about attachments or the gallery. Since I just registered and I am not approved yet, so I can't find any images.
But sometimes setting the value to 0 will fix some issues.

It's just the way that different browsers support the CSS necessary to do the scaling. Right now we can only use 1 method for all browsers and it makes it difficult.

With 8.0 we'll be handling things much differently, such as IE only CSS settings, which will help.

Thanks for the help. I hope you are approved now Ruben. Usually only takes a few hours smile

Oh, and the images aren't gallery images, they are hosted elsewhere and added to regular galleries.
