Hello, I have been running version 6.? fr some time now but I needed to change to another server and now I receive this error when I go to the site:
Fatal error: Cannot re-assign $this in ubbthreads/ubbt.inc.php on line 1777

any idea why this is? And more important what action I can take to solve it?

It sounds like your host has upgraded to PHP5 and your running something like 6.4 or prior which wasn't PHP5 compliant.

The only option to fix is either get your host to move you to a box that's still running PHP4, or do an upgrade so you can run properly under PHP5.

Thanks Rick, you are right we upgraded to php 5 on the new server.
We run 6.3.1 can you tell me, what the cheapest option for an upgrade is? what is best option for us to get a php5 compatible version?
