I will be purchasing a UBB.threads Standard License. However, the site engineer will be doing the downloading, registration, and installation on his server.

Will the following process work?

When I receive the license number and password, I forward that info to the engineer who downloads the software and sets it up.

Just wanted to make sure of my thinking to avoid any possible gotchas such as a conflict between my email address as the purchaser and the engineer’s email address.

Yes when the purchace is approved you will receive a email with the license number and password. Then access the Members Area link.
Enter the license number and password given in the email and it will take you to the download area.
The email will be sent to the address on record when purchaced. So you could just forward the email to that person.
If you ever have any issues with ubb and can't remeber what your licence number or password is . You can select the forgot link and it will be sent to that same email address on record.
So it is probably more important that you remember the emaill address you used to purchace UBB. Since that is how they keep up with licences pretty much.

I'd recommend that you download the UBB.threads archive yourself and mail it to the engineer; there isn't really much need for him to have your license id or password to the member area

Agree. Avoids future issues with license access.
