As far as using beta it is not the classic program. But the modification you are attempting to add in is a beta version. So you need to pay attention to what version it was designed for and what issues were reported for that mod.

Again I am only assuming which mod you are attempting to install since there are several at UBBDev.

In general, when it only says "add" and not in a particular location (like the wordlets file) just add it in the file so it is similar to the other lines:

q!admin_content! => q!Content Management!,
q!admin_display! => q!Display Options!,
q!admin_forums! => q!Forums!,
q!admin_home! => q!Home!,
q!admin_maint! => q!Maintenance!,

etc...
