Am moving to a could server, which means I can add extra ram and processors at will.

Here is my question which of unix or linux, works best with UbbThreads?

I prefer CentOS myself, it's a Debranded Redhat Enterprise Linux distribution.

thanks... in some softare i have to have public_html to go to the domain (not server) root others have to hae httpdocs or something similiar, the default cloud server from one and one uses CentOS but I an change that to a few other ones am not sure Debian is an option.

What is the best way to move everything over without killing a bunch of home bandwidth up?

Am using a mac

Stan i'm not sure if your going dedicated with one and one,
but the reason i moved away from them a while back was because
they could not support a database over 100mb in size,
have as many databases as you want but if it was 100mb that was it.

That was on shared hosting.

the VPS give you full control over what you have there. the 100 mg limit was a pain in the neck.

They actually did the move for me... it was like I was dealing with another company...
