How do I insert HTML into a custom portal island?

Currently I get this error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/realtune/public_html/forums/cache_builders/custom/portal_box_1.php on line 3

I thought it supported HTML? Is it only PHP it allows you to enter?

You need to place the html between the eof tags. Think of it like the ubb code tags.
