Gallery option just isn't what this group is use to.

Many are using PhotoBucket or Flickr, but some people would just like the option to upload a Pic directly into a post.

i've done a mod for this on two forums.. you upload directly into the post (any forum type) and it auto creates the [img] tags for you. ajax-y like..

both forums love it, but it is a modification and not free..

disadvantage to this that I see is that it takes more server space. But I still like it.

yes.. hosting images has its trade-offs.. but even with the max upload size of 3meg before compress, the files tend to end up quite small when finally stored on the server.. 100Kb to 200Kb range @ 70% jpg compression..

so one really just needs to determine if the HDD space 'hit' is worth it..
