For one particular style-sheet, I would like to remove the .author-content column

Any ideas how I would go about doing this?

I tried display:none; but clearly that is missing something...

Yeah, that's why I would prefer to do it via a style-sheet.

hrm.. well.. i ran stylish (FF add-on) to play a bit..

setting .author-content {display:none;}

works and kinda doesn't..

i'd have to look closer.. because removing a TD outta the equation kills the flow for sure. and you can't be tricky and set it to width:0px; either, since the td has an explicit size..

small tweak to the .tpls though and voila..

ok.. got it..

you have to sacrifice post_top_link too, but if you set both author-content and post_top_link to display:none; that will preserve the table tr td flow..

for users with posts layout 'TOP', it might break.. this was geared towards those who like post layout 'LEFT'
