I have 89K Private messages and I would like to Prune them.
Please add this ability via the normal Prune screen.

I know these are 'private', but as an Admin I shouldn't have to carry around nearly 100K of old forgotten rubbish.
I run all the database tools including the one to delete orphaned Private Messages, but they are still there (as I suspected they would.)

PS. A little background, my boards have nearly 700K posts and have been around since 2000. Many thousands of members have come and gone and there is no way to cleanup their Private Messages. (I have well over 10K members.)

Luket, don't take this the wrong way as I'm totally in your boat having run a board for so long, but it might be time to learn some SQL! I'll take a stab at it in the next few days.

The point of a suggestion board is to make suggestions to improve the product. Whether or not I can solve the problem outside of the UBB capabilities is beside the point.

The ability to prune very old posts (be they public or private) is a reasonable addition to UBB.

The ability to prune private messages will be available in v8. You'll be able to delete any private messages that have not had a reply within the number of days that you specify.
