hi, i've just migrated successfully from ubb classic 6.7.2 to ubb 7.5.5. however, forum moderators are not getting emails for the test posts i'm creating.

i don't see the "notify moderators of all new posts" option in the Forum Settings->Details area in 7.5.5. and my searches of this forum and faq for an answer have been unsuccessful so far. am i missing something? thanks.

Are the forum permissions set to require moderator approval? If not, then no notification will be sent. If they are, then you'll want to make sure that the moderators are actually assigned to individual forums.

Also need to have them go to their prefrences. At the bottom they will see "Moderator Preferences" and will need to check

"Notify me when a user uses the 'Notify Post' option? Usually sent only to Moderators."

and if the forum is moderated and posts needs approval

"Notify me when a post needs to be approved in a forum I moderate."

Or if the forum is not moderated and they want to be notified of new posts. Which any user can do.
Use the watched forums option.
Under mystuff>> watch List
Select the forum and select to be notified by email.
