You can see this feed here: http://www.markeedragon.com/forums/cache/global_rss320.xml We have problems that it shows the full UBB code and when HTML is used it is just blank. This is a multiple forum feed. We also have the same issue on the RSS feed urls provided in the control panel for each forum.

This is our primary news forum feed as provided in the control panel: http://www.markeedragon.com/forums/cache/rss1.xml If we take the same forum from the My Stuff> Feeds we get a different url. This one works. http://www.markeedragon.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=myfeeds&ft=1

Two issues for us here. The first is that visitors to the site are given the non working version unless they are a member and can go into "My Stuff". They of course don't know to do that.

The second issue is that we have dozens of news forums. So we require the control panel multi forum feed to be working properly.

On a side note: One thing I noticed is that you get the RSS icon on each forum listing page. But none for the home page. It would be very nice if it did automatically provide a feed url that used all of the news forums that are being presented. Just like the multi forum feed we made.

yep, this is a bug (feature?) as far as i see..

myfeeds.inc.php queries the POST_BODY field (HTML), while the generate_rss_feeds function in ubbthreads.inc.php queries POST_DEFAULT_BODY and truncates from there..

this wouldn't be a big modification to do a truncate on the actual markup, since there is already a truncate function that does the heavy lifting..

We'll have this fixed in 7.5.6.
