Hey guys, this isn't a new problem I have had, however I usually use a workaround method to make my ico show in the tool bar. I really want to try to use the default header.tpl settings for showing the icon, but even though I know I have the ico image I want in the folder, it is still showing the ubb default. I have checked the image in the folder and it is correct. However if I try to do forums/images/general/default (or whatever that style sheet uses i.e. default_dark is another one)... it shows the wrong image. Am I missing something here or do I just have to go back to taking that out of header.tpl and just writing my own ico handling exception?

using 7.5.6 (as of this morning).

your favicon is showing up for me.. it's prolly a caching issue..

Html:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/forums/images/general/STYLESHEET/favicon.ico" />

from your forum page(s)

'STYLESHEET' is for each one you have..

note: another thing i do is to also upload a favicon to the root (public_html) as well. this allows for any other pages which don't specify to be provided with a sorta 'default' one.

Ok I guess it was simply I had to delete the ico and re-paste it in the folder with a folder closeout. When I overwrote the file it just didn't take the first time. Looks like I got it sorted Thanks guys.
