I've added new forums and they show up in the general screen but I can't find them anywhere in the admin panel (to add Moderators, change settings etc).

Any suggestions?

Could be a caching issue. Try rebuilding the cache from the control panel, and if that doesn't fix it, FTP in to your site and delete everything in the cache/ directory except for the index.html file and rebuild the cache from the control panel.

Some of this don't make sense.

If the forum is added it should appear in the moderator and or permission settings.

I've done this up to the FTP...from there I seem to need really simple directions wink

That is my point.

I've gone back and made sure that I haven't missed a box somewhere to get it to show up but can't find anything at all.

Ok, if you've deleted the files with FTP, then go into the Control Panel and in the lower portion of the left hand menu you'll see a Rebuild Cache option.

Ok, THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS IF YOU CAN ACCESS IT IS GOTO:
Control Panel » Permission Checks
See if something shows as failed.
Then next is visit:
Control Panel » Clear Cache
And clear the cache to see if that fixes the problem.

Tried those suggestions. Still they show up so users can post on them but I can't find them anywhere in the Admin Panel.

Hmm, might be best if you can open up a support ticket with admin info to your forums and ftp info to your server so we can take a closer look.
