Is there a known bug in a Photo Gallery image manager in Threads 7.5.3? I have just tried setting up a new photo gallery forum, and attempting to create a post and upload a jpg file, the file manager gives me this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function resize_image_() in /home/whitneyz/public_html/wz/libs/image.inc.php on line 66

I hope someone can help me out.

Just go into your gallery settings in the control panel, make sure that either imagemagick or gd2 is selected for the graphics library, and submit.

in Control Panel, Gallery Settings, "What Graphics Library do you want to use?", it's already set to "Use GD2". There is no imagemagick option available from the dropdown.

submit the form, even though you aren't 'changing' anything.

At least I saw the picture on the first view.

Now I get:
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /wz/gallery/12/thumbs/5.jpg on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Maybe my directory permissions aren't set correctly. Off to try that.

Ahh, that was it. Permissions were set to 666. 777 got it working, but what level should they be?

777 for directories works and is necessary, if your server has php running as 'nobody'

files would be 666 then too

if the server has suPhp or is running php as fcgi, then you don't have to go that far and 755, 644 would be good
