Ok i'm up and running with 7.5.6 wink

Now i have the tweet and f/ b activiated.

The issue i'm having is and it could be me not understanding Twitter account or its Ubb / Mindraven software i dont know which.

Everytime "I" post a "Twitter" i get the following screen.



For the life of me ive not Recommended anything.
Its a new account.
I have clicked on the twitter links on this forum a while ago as a tester for the account.

No disrespect to the Mindraven Link. how can i change it ?

Is it in my "Twitter" settings if so where ?

So do I, even in light themes the darker text shows good so I changed mine to dark.

Why out of the blue when clicking on Tweeter icon of a thread is this Mindraven marketing Ad being posted to my users ?

I see this but where is this being directed in my UBB forum ?

You can read how to remove it in the link below, its from page one of this thread. Its not all the sudden out of the blue, its been there since the twitter button was added to ubb.

No something has changed as I changed the showflat file back when that post was done and now it seems since doing the security patches P1 and P2 for V 7.4.5 that this has returned and the showflat being used does not have the mindraven code in it
Is there more then one showflat file other then the one in template ?

Well, thats because that code has not been removed from stock code yet. You must have done a update running the update script or over rode all the files as no changes were applied to showflat.tpl for the security patch. Anytime you over ride a file you will need to re apply the fix.

I know SD said he was working on better design with twitter fb, and google +1 buttons so i am sure he will be removed from stock code when the next system update comes out.

With the code removed in showflat the marketing Ad no longer appeared
The P1 or P2 patches was not a overwrite of all files but simply replacing a few files and none of them were for the templates files.
I downloaded the showflat file and did a full compare and confirmed the code for mindraven for twitter is not there as I removed that almost 10 months ago and date of the file is from last January so it was removed in stock code.

The files that were changed for the patch were in 4 directories: admin, languages, libs, and scripts.

Those 4 directories were the only ones in the patch downloads. showflat.tpl is in templates/default directory. Something or someone restored or overrode showflat.tpl which added it back, but it wasn't the patch.
