sorry Giz, I mis-read... thought you were implying that as something not available on the PS3.

I will say, the PS3 as a media extender is lacking... most everything I stream via the PS3 is laggy, yet I watch the same thing streamed via my O!Play, and it is just fine.

If you are using the ps3 with WIFI it will have issues with some media. Due to it is only a G protocol and can't handle the hi-bit rate. I am not talking about baud rate.

Hardwired even though it is only a 10/100 it is much better.

it is hardwired, on the same sub-lan as the O!Play, so it isn't a difference in the cabling, etc..

I had problems with hd video wired with cat6 on my PS3 back before I got rid of it; the XBox streams HD content without issue, even over cat5e
