Is it possible to send a mass email to all of our members through the forum for like upcoming events and annoucements? If so how do I perform this?

Use member management, do a search for registered members, select all users in search, on the dropdown below choose "email members"

I hope you guys don't mind me piggy-backing on this topic. As I will be performing a mass mail soon.

I did a test run, by sending out one email to ensure that all will work right, unfortunately, the email never arrived at its destination.

I actually sent it to myself. I also verified that I am receiving emails at the destination.

Am I missing a step in the process? I am using v7.1.1 of UBB.

First thing is does any of the forum functions send a email.
Like pm notifications,watched topics, email topics.registration,Etc.
If you just moved hosts there may be a issue with a setting either in the control panel or the host.

I just sent a posted message using the 'email post' option and that email was received.

Umm, have you tried checking your spam box? Is your email by chance the same as the forum email address?

Thank you for the quick responses. Another question I have is that when I send this mass email out will it still be sent to the members who are banned/permanently banned?

Here are the steps I have taken to try and send mass email -

Log into Control Panel
Under Membership, I select Member Management
View/Edit Member, Submit
Search Results, Select Member
Action, Email, Perform Select Action
Available Options, Send Email Directly
Generate Email, Fill In Text, Send Email
Message received, email has been sent
I check the recipient email account, no email

It shouldn't, but there should be an option there that says "is banned?" just choose "no"

Try sending a email outside of ubb directly from what you are using for the board email address.
If it does not go then the person is blocking it or your host for email has a problem with your email account.

Oh another thing.
It could also be the members isp has your board email address blacklisted, so try it with several email addresses with different domains.
