How about some words of encouragement guys? I'm not asking for a delivery date, since we know that that is not possible. But, I'd sure like to know that S-O-M-E-O-N-E is still working on the upgrade... Would a short statement, maybe the first of EACH month, be too much to ask for?

Sorry, this has really become a game of trust... and unfortunately you're beginning to lose it.

SD's been doing a pretty good job of updating the current 7.6 changelog that we all asked him to do; he's also doing a good job of posting pictures of some features to give users an idea of how things are going to work... IMHO, this is way more than what we asked for since Rick sold shop...

I have been keeping an eye on all these changes and it all is looking good.

HOWEVER.

I am starting to cop some serious grief about WHEN this will be happening otherwise I am going to be put under massive pressure to jump ship to another forum software.

I have been with UBB since version 3 and really don't want to change but do we have any approximation as to when 7.6 will be released?

I don't want an exact date like Dec 8th or anything but are we looking at Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr ......

Just an idea. I am coping a LOT of grief about "waiting forever for something that never appears". I know there are a range of issues re change of ownership and the whole thing but I can't beat this off much longer without something a little definite.

I fear if something fairly definite isn't announced very soon I may have my hand forced by Christmas.

Since the security hole issue. Things do appear to be back on track.
So it may move fairly quick now at least for the next upgrade.

Possibly SD has a timeline on expectations of a release time frame.
