1. An opt out at the bottom of bulk emails for people to unsubscribe from group emails.
2. The ability to easily merge forums (for example, deleting a forum and combining the contents with another).

I'm not sure that #2 is really needed; there is a move tool in the control panel to move topics from one forum to another...

That is true...moving individual threads is easy. However, I have 4000 of them in a forum that I want to move. The idea that you can consolidate forums is important. IMO, it is mind blowing that this has never been asked for in the past in the prior versions of UBB.

VBulletin is now working to integrate in a very real fashion tools like Facebook with the forum. It would be nice of UBB does something like this.

I personally hate facebook. I get to populate them with my content for free. Having said that, FB does drive people to out site...though it could be a full time job to make it happen every day.
