Allow the user to select which forums are included for his unique Active Topics view.

We have that feature somewhat already.
If you use the watched lists.
Just add the forums you wish to watch.
Poof done.

Not in active topics but you can do what you want in watched forums now.

yep, you get exactly what you want with watched forums and not emailing the results..
