how do I quickly/easily export a member list? I have almost 300 pgs of members at 20 per page. that is a lot of exporting out to Excel and further messing around with the info if I have to do it a page at a time. how can I just export the whole list? thanks.

Go to the Member Management section of the Control Panel, do a generic search to pull up all of your members, create an email from the actions dropdown of the results and choose "all members" then choose "preform action" and then choose "Export list of addresses" from the next page and you'll have a list of all member emails.

Anything more and you'd have to do a custom query against the database to pull up whatever information you'd want...

thanks! I want to make sure I am not messing this up and sending everyone an email. When I choose 'perform action' the 'export list of addresses' is chosen. But the button below that is 'generate emails' -- plural. How do I ensure it is sending ONE email and it iis to me? and what format does it export/attach them as? BTW - we are on v6.5.4.

Well in v7.5 it just sends to you. As a basic text.
But if you are worried then just select one user as a test.

Just beware that if this is the first attempt to create a email list to all users you will probably have a lot of bad email addresses returned to you in the beginning.

I'm bumping this down to v6 "How Do I" since it doesn't pertain to v7; as for the steps I outlined before, they're specific to v7 and would need to be adapted to v6.
