I think I am losing my marbles because I put up an old forum topic I hadn't used since 2007. I purged all of the old topics and renamed it to a new name.

When I went to make the first post, I now have a box that I can check mark for a News Image to show. I've never ever seen this before and when I went to other existing areas to create a new topic that option is nowhere to be found.

I have no idea how it got there or how to get rid of it...

You can laugh it's ok, I just think I am going nuts.

The 'News Image' option is shown on the first post of a thread for use on the Portal Page.

I swear I have never ever seen this until last night. I post every day and create new topics every day. 70,000+ posts and seriously it has never been there.

Odd thing is it's only in this one topic area and nowhere else in the entire forum.

Yep,the image option basically only appears on the portal page summary.
It is often overlooked. But can be useful for highlighting specific posts.
And the option as I recall only appears on a new topic.
Replies don't.
But it may be limited to what forums are included on the portal page??
In fact I think it is.
