I have set up some forums as locked archives that members can read, but not post.

Is there a way to see not just how many views, but specifically, how many recents views?

I want some way of knowing if they still being currently used , and how often.

Not that I know of.

At least not in stock code.

You could use the "Forum Introduction" box or the "Use a unique header/footer for this forum?" boxes to include a statistics logger for each section, but that'd only display data for the index page for that forum being loaded... and you'd have to supply your own logger

It's very simple to setup on any UBBT site -- it only requires a simple copy/paste of code to:
Control Panel > Display Options > HTML Includes > Header Insert

Though, it is advisable that you update your site's privacy policy to reflect the new reporting.
