A long time ago I played with styles and wrappers, imported a few styles and then removed a couple In the forum bottom there is a menu for styles chooser I seem to have a blank row and a row with "Black and Gold (High res) style. how can I get rid of this? I have deleted that style in CP in the past
second I seem to have to many wrappers several renamed dropshadow it may have happened when I imported the non stock styles.

When exporting a wrapper there are two options, Export With Wrapper and Export Without Wrapper; the later setting to be used when your style hasn't used any custom wrapper changes (IE it uses the default wrapper).
When you import a style that comes with a wrapper, it simply gets added to your list of wrappers; whereas if you where to set your style to use the default wrapper and select "Export Without Wrapper" you wouldn't bump into these issues (basically authors need to only send a wrapper with their style when they've made changes to it, otherwise they should opt to export without the wrapper).
I'd take and open the styles you DO use and see if they will work with the default wrapper and select that for them to use, then delete any others that are lingering.
As for the style chooser, it should list any styles marked as "active", so go to the style editor and make sure the only items selected are valid themes that you'd like to have displayed.

I can't speak on the style chooser. But I can say that the wrapper issue has been here for a long time. every time you import a style using a wrapper with dropshadow, it will import a duplicate wrapper. Dropshadow was a common wrapper name that was modified for custom styles at the time.
If you look they may all be called dropshadow but have a different id number. Also they may have different html formats So for the wrappers you need to view your active styles. determine what wrappers they use. Ensure it does in fact work with your style Then delete the wrappers that are not used.
