As the sole Administrator can I change my own Display Name?

for example 'Webmaster' to >> 'Admin'?

Would that cause any unforeseen issues?

No problems at all.

The "Welcome" message to new users in PM will be displayed as coming from whatever name you have chosen for the "Main Administrator User." So all the messages will use that name. The Display Name is pulled from the User ID (number) and will reflect whatever changes you make to that user account. Its no different than a non-admin user updating their Display Name.

So, if you want to change your name you'd either do it from the "Edit Profile" page (if the "Allow Display Name Changes" setting is on, see CP -> Master Settings -> Feature Settings -> Allow Display Name Changes) or by editing your account in the member management section of the Control Panel.
