I was using chrome developer mode to test some things and I saw this popping up...

is this an issue? a bug? just me being too curious and overly paranoid?

This looks like an issue with the most recent version of Chrome Developer Edition setting a warning for every JavaScript file.

I've just commented those two lines out in earlier versions. No need to have them, since the browser handles that part of the XMLHttpRequest cycle itself

correction, it seems that you have an early download of the ubbthreads760.zip file where shoutchat called to ubbdev.com by error.

the zip was updated on 2/18/2017

it contains the corrected libs/shoutchat.php and templates/default/shoutchat.tpl files you need

I have no libs/shoutchat.php in the zip (just downloaded again)

I belive I had the old versions of these files it read feb 15 while the others read Feb 18 so I uploaded the new now and should be safe unless there are other files changed.

You should be good laugh

There was just that "silent refresh" posted early on 2/18. I looked at the download numbers in the first few hour period, and saw they were extremely minimal. So I tried to sneak a "fast one" by. The 760 announcement was officially posted only a few hours prior, on the 2/17.

items that were addressed in the "silent refresh" were.
1) a single upgrader string (discussed on ubbdev.com)
2) shoutchat external link. and not refreshing when no columns were used. (this current thread)
3) resolve a possible cdn/cache issue that no one may ever be affected with. (documented here)
