Using Explorer 11 (on a Win 8.1 and a Win 10 Computer) with Zen as the style there's missing content on the pages,

Specifically, on the Summary page my Header Image and Top left Custom Island Image are invisible - or sometimes flashing.
Using a different style they are visible.
Going to any other page besides summary they are visible.

In other pages either the 'print thread' or 'forum options' are invisible.

Any Ideas how to fix? I really like the Zen style...

Bill

PS, on my Win 8.1 using Explorer 11 it looks fine ... confused

It looks the same to me, no matter which style I use.

Both screenshots.
LEFT: IE11 - ZEN
RIGHT: FF52 - ZEN / Your custom "UBB 2017"

Can you post a screenshot for clarity, since I am unable to understand what you're pointing out.

I am unable to reproduce your issues on your site, everything is loading as intended for me... Do you have a firewall/security program installed that's stopping javascript from loading?

Nothing I'm aware of, but, af far as the header goes, why would that only affect the Summary page?

Also, the same 2 Computers show everything as normal using Chrome and FF

RELATED:
I also cannot reproduce your issue.
Both my screenshots are from Windows 10. Though, the OS shouldnt make a difference, since HTML/CSS is at the browser level, not OS level.

UNRELATED:
Just for the sake of wanting to help with your browser display issue, can you do something about the seizure inducing flashing-rainbow gif animation on the right column? Its not helping to debug the issue at all.

Seriously. Its literally assaulting everyone who visits your website. laugh

I'm watching the 8.1 Laptop now and there's 4 New Post icons (newposts.gif) that flash 4 times and then the Custom Island image flashes with it, all go out then 4 more 'New Post' icon flashes and then the Header flashes on for a split second...

Good thing I'm not prone to seizures... LOL

It's possibly not related, and 3rd party HTML is outside of the scope of forum support, BUT you have some incredibly dirty/incorrect HTML on your site; including an ending table cell tag in your image element as well as missing quotations around elements.

Your "shoutbox notice":
Code
<p align="center">

<font face="Arial" size="2">

<a href="https://www.electrical-contractor.net/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/shoutchat.html">
<img border="0" src="https://www.electrical-contractor.net/Banners/Chatter.jpg" alt="Join in a Live Electrical Chat!" width="150" height="100" vspace="10" hspace="15"></a><br>
</font><b>
<font face="Arial" size="2" color="#CC0000">
<a href="https://www.electrical-contractor.net/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/shoutchat.html">
<font color="#CC0000">Give a Shout Out!</font></a></font></b><u><font size="2" face="Arial"><br>
</font></u>

Cleaned should look similar to:
Code
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/shoutchat.html"><img src="/Banners/Chatter.jpg" alt="Join our Electrical Chat!" title="Join in a Live Electrical Chat!" width="150" height="100"></a><br>
<span style="font-weight: 700; color: #CC0000;"><a href="/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/shoutchat.html">Give a Shout Out!</a></span>
</div>

Likewise, your header:
Code
	<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
		<tr>
			<td>
			<p align="center"><map name="FPMap0">
			<area target="_blank" coords="338, 123, 543, 154" shape="rect" href="http://www.electrical-classifieds.com/">
			<area target="_blank" coords="569, 123, 736, 154" shape="rect" href="https://www.electrical-photos.com/">
			<area target="_blank" href="https://www.licensedelectrician.com/" shape="rect" coords="760, 124, 890, 154">
			<area target="_blank" href="https://www.electrical-contractor.net/" shape="rect" coords="5, 12, 194, 111">
			<area target="_blank" href="https://www.licensedelectrician.com" shape="rect" coords="1018, 9, 1182, 117">
			</map>
			<img border="0" src="https://www.Electrical-Contractor.net/Banners/ECN-Forum-BannerT.gif" usemap="#FPMap0" alt="ECN Electrical Forum - Discussion Forums for Electricians, Inspectors and Related Professionals" width=100% td>
		</tr>
	</table>

Cleaned should look similar to:
Code
<div style="text-align: center;">
<map name="FPMap0">
	<area target="_blank" coords="338, 123, 543, 154" shape="rect" href="http://www.electrical-classifieds.com/">
	<area target="_blank" coords="569, 123, 736, 154" shape="rect" href="https://www.electrical-photos.com/">
	<area target="_blank" href="https://www.licensedelectrician.com/" shape="rect" coords="760, 124, 890, 154">
	<area target="_blank" href="https://www.electrical-contractor.net/" shape="rect" coords="5, 12, 194, 111">
	<area target="_blank" href="https://www.licensedelectrician.com" shape="rect" coords="1018, 9, 1182, 117">
</map>
<img src="/Banners/ECN-Forum-BannerT.gif" usemap="#FPMap0" alt="" title="ECN Electrical Forum - Discussion Forums for Electricians, Inspectors and Related Professionals" style="width: 100%;">
</div>

I offer HTML/Development services through VNC Web Services, the provided code here is unsupported and was only supplied to point out misuse of various elements.

Also, you're misusing the alt image element, it's supposed to be alternative text that describes the image for alternative text readers; it is not a place for advertisements. You're likely looking at using the title element vs alt.

Is there a reason you have auto updates disabled in your Edge/IE? It makes it really difficult to troubleshoot anything when current software isn't being run.

Thanks, I updated the codes to what you had above.
The code(s) I used was what MS Frontpage was giving me.

I just turned off the updates today while I was making screenshots

If no one else can see the problem I can live with it, but it is bugging me because I can't make sense of it yet.

It just might be time to upgrade to Microsoft Expression Web
https://www.microsoft.com/expression/eng/

Quote
Expression Web is Microsoft's current offering in the WYSIWYG arena (the popular but much maligned FrontPage was retired in 2003). For those of you who associate Microsoft with poor web standards compliance, take comfort knowing that Expression Web has a totally separate engine from Internet Explorer and is compliant with a wide range of current web standards. It shares a lot of features with the other WYSIWYG editors featured here, like highlighting code errors and non-compliant code, a built-in CSS editor, and more, it also stands out for features like search engine optimization—offering you tips and ideas to optimize your sites for better crawling and search engine ranking.

If you havent upgraded in 14 years because cost was an issue, have a look at Kompozer.

I have Expression Web, have had it for years, as well as several other web design software. I just haven't taken the time to really learn how to use it, and didn't know it would make a difference.

I'll definitely try using it going forward.

I use EditPlus and lookup the proper tag syntax on PHP.net and w3schools; I find WYSIWYG cumbersome as they tend to add more code than is needed, I suppose at least they nest tags properly.
