i am needing to be able to feed a message from a web form or email message into a forum, where it will be automagically posted from a specific user.

this is my (proposed) form:




i wish to feed the contents of this form into UBB where it will be processed and posted from a predefined "user" into a predefined forum. Eg, user "News" in forum "Current Events"

what i need to know is: is this structurally possible to do (using some custom php programming, of course) without too much trouble and effort?

any other opinions?

I used to do this a year or two ago from a news package, so I can't see why it should not be possible, as it worked with the older version of threads..

Personally I would like to see the ability to post RSS feeds as new posts into a specified forum.
