But is it allowed we post some snippets here about the changes we make to modify our forum. Maybe it's usefull to some of us.
I posted a few modifications here, just to have it in a knowledge database.

can't see snippets as being an issues, as there are already many examples - however full blown mods/hacks should be posted at UBBDev.

Either that or post as UBBDev, with a link here - best of both worlds
