I just downloaded beta 4 from the members area, installed the new software but when I went to import my info from v6.5 the importers directory is blank. Are those files missing for a reason? Am I looking in the wrong place? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Nate. You'll actually find the importer files in the members area as well. We don't include them in the main download since not everyone needs them, and if they do, they only need one or the other.

Not to mentuon, having to update the main release if an importer update is needed would be a waste...

Rick,

I have a very busy message broad with over 6,999 members over 250,000 posts and almost 7,000 topics. How easy or difficult will the importing of my 6.5.2 date be? Is that something that will be offered through sales or tech support?

Should be fairly easy (as there has been a lot of testing on the importers, it'll probably take a good portion of the evening to run the import however.

Hi Larry,

As Gizzy stated it will take a good chunk of time to run, but the process isn't too awful hard. We will have upgrade services available for those that would like to have it done for them.
