After sending out mass e-mails to users, some mails bounce back indicating that the address is somehow inaccurate - o.k.
But since I do not always know the corresponding user name for the e-mail address - how can I search for the e-mail address in order to get the user name?

Sure....

Under Admin -> Show/Edit Users -> Change the pulldown menu to 'Email' and enter the email in the box.
