I posted elsewhere that yesterday morning I seemed to have started a 2nd import. This was after I got a timeout, overflow or something and had server not found on the screen. I pushed the Go button, saw the utility continue and went to work. When I came home, I had 2 going.

I have 3167 members, but the stats are showing 5458, and I can see lots of people are duplicated. Will this mess work itself out when I redo when the final release comes out?

Also, the Newest Members box shows 1 member (me). What do you suppose is wrong with that? Link is http://www.tropictravelonline.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php

When you say you had 2 going were there 2 seperate browser windows running the import script? The extra users are definitely from the duplicate running as it would duplicate quite a bit of data, but the only way I can see how this would be possible is if a new window was opened and somehow started again.

The Newest Member box showing 1 could be a cache issue. Go ahead and try clearing your cache in the control panel and see if that fixes it.

Yes, 2 were running in separate windows. They were one forum apart (i.e., when one was doing forum 62, the other was doing forum 63). So how do you ever import a 2nd time if the members are going to be duplicated?

Clearing the cache fixed the New member problem. Thanks, Rick. What can I do about the members? I don't want to throw out the whole board because I have custom islands galore. This and the avatar problem are my only problems left. I really like the software a lot.
