Do you want email notifications when you receive private messages?

The default is "no" and I can not find a configuration within the UbbThreads setup to set it to "yes" for new users created. Is there such a place?

No, there's no way to change the default in the settings.

You can use a SQL Query to update existing user:

UPDATE w3t_Users
SET U_Notify = 'On'


Backup your database first.
