I cannot send private messages as Admin. "The user name does not exist in the database" - but is does!

I have UBB.threads 6.3 running on Windows NT. Default language is German.

What could be wrong?

Might be a bug. Are you sure you updated all the German language files with 6.3?

which German language files do you mean especially? You might contact Brett Harris who just finished working a support ticket concerning language probs.

Meanwhile, other users also reported that they have this problem.

One way to check and see if it's a language related problem would be to change your language to english and try to send a PM. If you can then it's related to the language file and we can work from there.
