This is an option that my board uses greatly. For a board that gets 400+ posts a day the option to search active posts was used a lot. Now the option is active topics and you have to search through the topics to find only the active posts. I have received complaints about this from both staff and members. Is there a way to change this?

Let me also chime in. I get that amount of daily posts, however, I allow an anonymous reply to a post so I need to check what is being posted. Sure would love to that feature back.

Currently it would take a modification to the dosearch script. Right now the way it works it's forcing it to only show topics. I thought I could give you just a quick change, but it's a bit more involved.
