I have looked but for the life of me I cannot find out where to globally prune old posts (threads). The only thing I can find in the Admin Panel is where to prune threads one forum at a time where you have to click on each and every thread you want to delete. There MUST be another way? In earlier versions, you're correct in how it's done. You also can configure the forum to auto-purge posts over X days. (You need to configure the doexpire.php cron job for this to work correctly.)

Joshpet - I cant find any "doexpire.php" but do have a doexpirethreads.php. Is this what you meant? (I run v 6.5.1). At any rate, as I put in another post, I can't get the threads to expire (and I did set up doexpirethreads as a cron job and it is running, just not expiring any threads. Help!

doexpire.php is in the ../cron/php directory. You'll have to set up a cron job to expire threads automatically. You can find out how to set up a cron job here:
