Can you provide more details regarding the error, including the actual error received?

of course not, he's using IE. $5 says "Not an object" is the error

(Bitter cause he has to rewrite the importer to work with stupid IE)

I think they may be talking about what they sees in the lower left corner at the status bar. It is showing the yellow java triangle.

On the portal page I get no errors. On the forum page I get the error using IE 6 and on my other computer running IE 7 I get the same. it says Done, but with errors. I get no errors using firefox. I attached a screen shot.

did you try double clicking the error icon to get the actual message?

Also, just got a js error in firefox
Get error "targ.parentNode.parentNode has no properties" for the following line of code
Code:
	if (targ.id == "noclose" || targ.parentNode.id == "noclose" || targ.parentNode.parentNode.id == "noclose") {

ok, localized the bug. You need to click the body itself, avoiding any child elements. So try the far right bottom of the page

After going to each page showing the error and double clicking it, I went to the line where it says the error is. This is the js it shows as the error <script type="text/javascript">getShouts(0);</script>

If I click on any page except the portal page I get the error. If I refresh it, it's gone

it'd help if we knew the error, and not just where it is

I am still new to this but how do you find it? When I double click on it, it says

Line: and it tells the line
Char:1
Error: object expected
Code:0
than the url

IE 6 on my laptop and IE 7 on my other. Get same errors on both, and just double checked that it is both. Someone else earlier in this thread said they were getting errors too

On the first page I put an attachment of the screen shot. Hopefully it will work itself out, we can't fix what we can't see. Thanx for all your hard work

aha, it appears you have both side columns turned off, is that correct? I'll turn mine off and maybe I can duplicate it then.
