I might be missing something here, but I though there would be a poll function in 6.2?

It's coming in 6.2.1, to be released fairly soon (I'll let Dave define what "fairly soon" means). We didn't want to hold up releasing all of the other cool things that are in 6.2 (recent visitors, printable pages, etc.) while we worked the final kinks out of the polling feature.

In other words, hang tight...it's coming down the pike next!
