I thought there was an alert when you received a private message that appears up by your hello username? One that says you have X new private messages? I've seen this on a 6.5.0 classic board and just thought it was a feature. Could this be someones hack? Or it is actually here somewhere because I can't find it?

6.5 has built in PM Notification. Prior to 6.5, it was available as a hack.
