would it be possible to make a few more subforums so i can visualise better how it's going to look? i have serious plans to incorporate message boards within message boards over the mext few months.
to what extent are the subforums able to be administered autonomously of the top level forums? and what level of customisation can be undertaken in subforums, so that they have their own distinct personality (but retaining operational look-and-feel)?

Moderators can be dded to any subforum. Normal look/feal is achieved, forum/description used Can set sort-order of each forum. Can set default topic view Can set STYLE on a per forum basis.
each child forum has its own permissions aside from its parent forum, as all forums (reguardless of child/parent) have their own settings...
