We are our own ISP... but even don't allow our services or products to relay email due to the number of attacks that we have had.

Is there a hack around the relaying issue? We really want to use the email features.... but Relaying is out of the question.

The UBB requires either SMTP or sendmail access to an email system.

Typically sendmail access doesn't provide any relay lockouts - only smtp is usually affected.

And you can usually configure your smtp service to accept outgoing email from a single ip address (your web server).
