Pulling Recent Posts to Main Web Page

Hey,
I want to know if there is an automatic way to take the most recent post titles, and display them on the main page of my site. Just 3 or so, and links, something easy that doesn't require all of my time to do.

Any thoughts or references would be wonderful.
