I can send PM's to myself

Eventually you'll be able to invite people to private topics that have already been started. So, the idea is that you can send yourself a PM just as a note, or you can send it to yourself as a draft and invite people after it's finished.

OK, no Bug, feature. So its a notepad funktion. Then it would be nice to have an e-Mail/download function for my own pm's to get a local copy.

You have always been able to do this in threads

I didn't know this about Threads.

Of course, I had to try it out ... and when I did, and I checked the messages in "My Space"--I saw the PM twice. When I check one to delete it, both are deleted.

Is this right? I mean, should the PM appear twice?

Hmm, actually it should have given you a javascript warning that you don't need to add yourself, since you're added by default. What browser and version are you using?
