Our board has been running for about 2 weeks and it has been sucessfull so far. Now I got a couple of questions:
I am paranoid about the functionality of this board, so what do I need to back up in case the board goes down?
If it goes down what do I need to do?
So far we have 11000+ post. When do I need to prune the messages, every month? every couple of weeks?
Overall, what should I do to keep the board up and running?

Hmm..

Let me address the backup portion first since that's the easy one..

In 5.x, you need to back up:
Members/*
NonCGI/ForumX/* (but not the HTML directories)
cgi-bin/UltBB.setup, mods.file, Styles.file and forums.cgi
NonCGI/Archives/*
NonCGI/digests/*
(if you have those last two).

I think that's about it...

I'll let someone else answer the second part of your question other than by saying "it really depends on your server power.."

What type of server are you running on? (Space/quota limits, power, ram, etc.., anything you know..)
