I have a forum that I don't want to appear on the main forum index page, and also don't want it to show up anywhere else, for that matter.

I have figure out that by setting the forum to "Off" in the Forum list, I can effectively hide this from most of UBB, with the exception of the "Today's Active Topics" list. (That's all I've found so far, at least.)

Is there any way to disable the active topic list, or to hide the forum by a better method?

Are you saying that's the only way to hide it, or that there is no way to disable the "Active Topics" link?

Turning the forum Off is the only way to hide it... normally it should NOT show up in Today's Active Topics....

Perhaps it does only because there are no other posts in any forums yet.
