#95199 - 10/25/00 10:26 PM CGI to Perl mapping
Anonymous

I followed the instructions for cgi mapping in IIS. If I run a perl -v at a command prompt I get proper versioning info. But CGI is not using PERL ( http://www.duf.net/ubb/cgi-bin/hello.cgi )

The activeperl install created the .pl association automatically and I simply copied the info for the .cgi mapping. I rebooted, stopped and started web publishing services.... not sure what else to look at at this point. Help!

Just an FYI since I got no response here. I followed the instructions exactly and tried to associate .cgi at the virtual directory level, however, it would not work until I made the association at the top of my web structure. All is well now.
