If you click on any of the forums that have been set up, I have been able to post some messages. The only problem now is I am unable to read them.

Can anybody help me out?

make sure your noncgi directory is writable, and the html directoy in each forum# directoy is writable, if you look in the html folder of the forum see if the html files are there. Let me know if it is.

Just another quick question, I was readin in another thread that is posted on this forum. Someone was saying that within the Non CGI folder you must have sub folders in there. Being Forum1 - Forum2 etc etc with another sub folder inside them ANNC. I have done this. Am I correct for doing it, or have I wasted my time.

well if your noncgi folder is writable the ubb should do this automaticly, like i said, it is probably not write, and that is why it can't create the html and stuff

Something else is wrong since the thread list files have been created but the threads haven't. What's the URL to your CP?

Just a thought

Ok, the URL to my CP is,

http://www.overdrive.com.au/ubb/cp.html

I have just recieved an email from my serve stating that they have given the UBB folder write permissions, I went to the page to test and 404 error stills occurs.

URL for board: http://www.overdrive.com.au/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro

Once again just choose a topic and you cannot read the post.....

yeah that was me, i'm stumped, the only thing i can think of is that one of the scripts is messed up, in that case you should re-upload all the files in the cgi-bin directory. it's worth a shot
