OK, so I installed it perfictley, but when I click on general setings in the cp I get this. What is wrong? My cp is at http://www.rhh.netfirms.com/ubb/cp.html

If you can help, please do. The files are set to 755 and the veriable_files are set to 777, so I know I did it right.

The control panel URL you have provided is not valid. Please provide a valid URL. Also can you post a copy of your permissions here so that we can check them to ensure they are correct?

The correct link is http://rhh.netfirms.com/ubb/cp.html

Edit your cplinks.html and knock off the www at the beginning. Then you will be able to enter the various settings. They work with the proper URL.

You still have not correctly edited cplinks.html. For example:
http://rhh.netfirms.com/cgi-bin/cpanel.cgi?action=variables

will take you to the General Settings page.

Your BASE HREF is http://rhh.netfirms.com/cgi-bin/

REMOVE the www. in the front of that URL in the BASE HREF line.

I have set your paths and URLs, but you will have to edit the cplinks.html as above so you can use your Control Panel to finish the setup.

You can see the board at:
http://rhh.netfirms.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro

After you have corrected cplinks.html, use the default user/pw (in the instructions) to setup the board. Do not change the first six settings in General Settings as they are the correct paths and URLs.

Added: If you still cannot get it to work, you can send me a Private Message with your ftp username and password and I will see if I can get it set for you. I will have to confirm your license before helping, so be sure to provide the email address you used to register. It may take a little while for me to get the confirmation. You might get faster action if you submit a trouble ticket to Infopop and tell them you are having trouble with the cplinks.html editing. Refer them to this thread. (This offer is only for this thread - PM or email from anyone else will be ignored)

I can only get a few hours in a day, so it'll take some time, but at least I'm moving! Thanks again for your help.
